“Rescue Diver” Course for Assisting Divers in Case of Diving Accidents
This course is designed to help rescue divers in the event of diving accidents. It is suitable for those who have completed Advanced level diving training and have previously undergone Emergency First Response or equivalent training. The training in this course is more fun and exciting than any other course. The learning is divided into two parts:
Theoretical component, taking approximately 10 hours.
Practical component in the sea, which is not measured by hours but divided into real-life scenarios consisting of 12 situations. The learning approach will be a stepping stone, starting from the basics of assisting tired divers, panic divers, locating missing divers, bringing drowning divers to the surface, performing rescue breaths on the surface, transporting patients to shore or onto a boat, providing first aid after bringing them out of the water, and finally combining all the scenarios practiced into a combination skill. It may be tiring, but it is guaranteed to be fun and will provide a wealth of knowledge applicable in real diving situations.
